Fotógrafos. Este post va a tratar sobre los fotógrafos de los que tenéis que estar alerta. Llegan pisando fuerte con sus cámaras, llevando la creatividad otro paso más allá. Voy a omitir a Mario Testino, Steven Meisel y Anne Leibovitz, no porque no me gusten (ya que los admiro) si no que ya los conocéis seguramente.

Photographers. This post is entirely about the ones you need to be on the lookout for. Thay are stirring all up by getting one stage above on creativity. I am not going to include Mario Testino, Steven Meisel and Anne Leibovitz, not that I don’t like them (I admire them) just that you probably already know them.

Driu&Tiago es el equipo formado por Driu Crilly (Inglaterra) y Tiago Martel (Brazil). Se conocieron en Paris cerca del 2002 y ahora están basados en Europa. Entre sus clientes se encuentran Elle, Citizen K, Wonderland y muchas otras.

Driu&Tiago  is the team formed by Dru Crilly (UK) and Tiago Martel (Brazil). They met in Paris around the year 2002 and are now based in Europe. Amongst thier clients youcan find Elle, Citzen K, Wonderland  and many others.

 

Otro dúo fotográfico es el formado por los holandeses Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. Han sido publicados en multitud de revistas como Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W Magazine, etc… Su trabajo se define como un poco burdo. En multitud de ocasiones han jugado con los cuerpos, como por ejemplo  fotografiando a hombres con partes de mujer.

Another duo is the one formed by the Dutch pair Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. They have been published in multiples magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W Magazine and so on. Their work has been sometimes described as disturbing. In many ocassions they have played with the human body, for example pfotographing men with woman’s body parts.

Mikael Jansson es un fotógrafo sueco que de vez en cuando hace fotografías relacionadas con la moda, pero el prefiere las que tienen que ver con capturar los momentos o simplemente que transmitan estados de animo. Pero no por eso quiere decir que no se le de bien la fotografía de moda ya que ha echo varias campañas y portadas.

Mikael Jansson is a swedish photographer that sometimes does fashion related photos, but prefers the ones that have to do with capturing the moment or simply a mood. But that does not mean he is no good at it as he has done plenty of campaigns and covers.

 

 Greg Kadel es un fotógrafo y director americano,con base en Nueva York. Posee una larga lista de publicaciones y campañas con firmas de renombre. Aparte tiene famosos clientes que recurren a el para hacerse fotos.

Greg Kadel is an american photographer and filmaker, based in New York. He has done a large amount of publications and campaigns with well knowned brands. He also has a wide list of famous clients that count on him when doing photoshoots.

Sebastian Kim es otro fotógrafo basado en Nueva York, pero paso su infancia entre varias ciudades. Ha tenido una formación inigualable ya que empezó como asistente del legendario Richard Avedon y posteriormente a Steven Meisel (si no sabéis de el, debéis mirar trabajos suyos). Ya ha echo sus pinitos y tiene asiduos a grandes firmas.

Sebastian Kim is based in New York, but has spent his childhood in various cities. He has one of the best teachers as he began assisting the legendary Richard Avedon and later on Steven Meisel (if he doesn’t sound familiar you must look at his work). He has already done some work and has gained support from big brands.

Nick Knight es un fotógrafo que lleva ya tiempo en este mundo pero que no mucha gente conoce.  Mucha gente cuenta con el cuando desea hacer fotografías impresionantes e impactantes. Ha ganado múltiples premios y echo exhibiciones.

Nick Knight is a photographer that has been around for quite a long time but that not many people know. Loads of industry people count on him when looking for an eyecathing photo. He has gained many awards and done exhibitions.

 

Ellen von Unwerth es una fotógrafa y directora alemana especializada en la erótica femenina. Todo el mundo la reclama cuando quiere transmitir el poder y la sensualidad de una mujer. Es todo un referente en cuanto a esta materia.

Ellen von Unwerth is a german photographer and director specialised in the feminine eroticity. Everyone claims her when they want to transmit the power and sexuality of a woman. She is one of the biggest references in this matter.
